Four ways to work together
I am Michel AKPABLA, a software developer. I work alone or alongside your team, from the first scoping workshop to running the system in production — and I tell you upfront what falls inside my scope and what does not.
- 01
Design & development
Business applications, ERPs, SaaS platforms and APIs: I design the architecture, build the application and ship it to production — documented, tested and ready for your team to take over.
- Business application, ERP, SaaS platform
- APIs and integrations with your partners
- Taking over and rebuilding an existing codebase
- 02
Infrastructure & production deployment
Containerisation, continuous integration, Kubernetes with GitOps and monitoring: the chain that carries your code from the repository to production, and warns you before your users do.
- Containerisation and reproducible environments
- CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes, GitOps deployment
- Metrics, logs, traces and alerting
- 03
Audit & technical advice
Code, architecture, performance, security or a provider's quote: a written assessment, ranked by severity and costed, with a debrief for your teams.
- Code, architecture and technical debt audit
- Performance, security, infrastructure costs
- A second opinion on a provider's proposal
- 04
Training & team upskilling
Two to five day sessions on your own code, 60% hands-on, with a month of follow-up after the last session. Your developers gain habits, not slides.
- Laravel, Symfony, Vue 3, React, TypeScript
- Docker, CI/CD, tests and code quality
- Architecture, code review, mentoring
How we start
An engagement rarely starts with code
- 01
A 30-minute call
You walk me through the context, I ask questions. By the end of the call you know whether the subject fits my scope — and if it doesn't, I say so.
- 02
A written scope
A few days to set the perimeter, the business rules and the risks. That document is yours, even if we go no further together.
- 03
A costed proposal
A budget, a schedule and identified deliverables, split into batches. You commit batch by batch, not to the whole project at once.
Let's talk
Tell me where you stand
A project to launch, an application running out of breath, a team to level up: describe the situation in a few lines and I'll answer within 48 hours.
